Microsoft speech recognition is so excellent. It allows for its user to use speech recognition at an affordable price. It is my belief, that this free software and is available in windows operating system is absolutely free. So, more freelance writers should use this particular software to their advantage. It’s a lot easier as a writer to use your thought that comes from within, without typing. Speech recognition is a writer’s tool.

Waiting......waiting

Just waiting for word back from DMS. Applied for a copy editors position yesterday. My gut feeling is that I have got the job, hopefully. Praying..praying the job is mine.

World History

Finally! Getting through my World History book. Sometimes homeschooling my little one, gets in the way of my studies; but I keep on pressing on. My love for education, keeps me going.

Journey

Education can be delivered in many forms or formats. Taking advantage of that is so important. Distance education is such a valuable tool, if used correctly. Online colleges is a complete game changer, for all.

Plunge

I can't believe me and my family are taking the plunge and moving to Jamaica. So, tired of Canada and need a change, of scenery. Though, I will really miss my family here it's time for me to grow and expand my horizons. As a writer, this will be a great uplifting experience for me.

Passion

In this economy, which has fallen because of greedy wall street, do what your heart desires. It's my believe that this recession or great depression has brought about some great things. They recession has brought great thinkers to think we were and revamp our lives. For me personally or I have I am now doing what I love to do which is writing.

I think if it weren't for the recession, I would never have picked myself up by the bootstraps and truly considered my passion as a profession. So, the recession has taught me to focus on the things that matter to me most, and do what I love to do.

Keep on writing

Taking some time off to have a writing, getting used to the whole demand media and are not really used writing for them, or should I say the demand media way. Demand media it's so different my writing style. But, I will keep on pressing on a keep writing with everything I've got. I'm pleased to say, that I do a lot more writing using speech recognition. Simply, because I'm not a very fast typist.

The most amazing thing though, is that Dragon NaturallySpeaking has now come out with version 11. Real... Real excited! I Dragon NaturallySpeaking is a godsend for all writers and is of course aspiring writers.

Exam Time

It's about that time again, exam time. I plan on doing my exam after I put the kids to bed, tonight. I believe I will pass with at least a 90 %. It's really neat how technology has changed our lives. Thanks to technology, I can work and get an education all online.

Homework

I'd had no clue that I would still attending college to this day.I do know that education is a never ending process. Just never thought that I would be in college while raising 2 children. Doing homework has it's challenges, especially with 2 screaming children in the mix.

Tired

Today is just another day of exhaustion. I can hardly make it to the creamier or milk for my coffee. Sometimes I even drink tea. Of course the kiddos are full of energy I for one just need a few hours of sleep. Gosh ! How do we mothers do it ?

New Home

I truly love writing for DS. The projects are great. You have the option of writing about topics you know about, and like. Oh ! not to mention the flexibility of writing and working where and when you want. I love the fact that I don't have search for assignments, anymore.

Rest

As I sit an ponder will I ever get enough rest? The truth is I know sleep really doesn't exist when your a mom. I guess that's just my insomnia talking. I do plan on getting some much needed rest tonight, though. Although, I am a writer all writers need sleep.

New Experiences

Today, I received my first rewrite from DS. I was so shocked, and yet a little excited.
Yes ! Excited to see how the writing process is with my new client. I noticed that so many writers on DS vent about copy editor feedback.It really isn't a big deal, a matter of fact I believe it really is good for new writers to DS like me.

I love visiting the forums to find out whats new and get some tips on writing for DS.

Living and loving life

Today, has been great for me. I managed to do some more research for the articles I am writing. I love the that fact that I get paid, for what I love doing. When I speak to other mothers at the park where i take my children to. They ask me, what do you do ?

I usually reply back " I'm a writer ". I find that most people become intrigued has to how I do it. At least I know that women like me can truly have it all. We can be devoted mothers and have careers all at the same time.

" That truly gives me comfort ".

Hello ! Demand Studios

I'm so happy I have joined the Demand Studios as a writer. It requires a lot of reading at first, but I do believe once I'm through doing that I will hit the ground running. Juggling my homeschooling schedule with the kids and work I'll do just fine.

I have also joined Examiner.com, as well. It's so empowering as a women and mother to know that I have the option of working from home and raising a family. " Living a empowered life".

Study Night

Today, had been a day filled with things for me to do. Mother's Day is a day I seem to always be busy, so busy in fact with groceries, children, and of course schoolwork; not to mention the housework. As mothers we wear so many hats, is it any wonder how you keep up with all this.

Yet tonight, when my children rest their heads I will be studying, and burning the midnight oil.

Lots Of Stuff

I still have a few articles to write, and so little time. Mostly a couple of poems that I have not published, as of yet. I literally works are poems, and that just the area I choose to write in. Today, I have to do some studying and still manage to be a mom. I might still have a little time to enjoy listen to my favorite ebook.

Never enough time

It seems as though, there is never enough time.I'm a homeschooling mom and student. Life such seems so hectic at time. I have been trying to fit in a my studies for the last, 3 days this week. It has been truly been tough, for me. Very...very tired, but I know god will give me strength.

Wow

So ! extremely exhausted and I never seem to get enough sleep. My kids are wide-eyed and bushy tailed, ready to take on the world. I hardly have time to get a word in. I'm also now a " Twitter Mommy ".
