Done...Done...

I'm finally done. I finished the course Reading and Literature 1. I'm so proud of myself it was a hard road. But, I survived all that studying and exams. The good thing is that I was able to go to school on-line. Being a mother and writer it was no small fate. I love being able to attend classes at the kitchen table. I will now start the World History course.

Netbook Vs. Notebook ?

I have recently bought myself a net book, and I'm writing in my blog, with it right now. I love posting my blog with it. I bought the newer Asus eee pc in black. I have to admit that I love the portability of it. I can't wait to visit my nearest coffee shop, Tim Hortons.

Sex In The City...Finally Watched It

I finally watched the movie " Sex in the City". Loved it..loved it. It has finally brought me back to some memories I had long forgotten. It was definitely a girly flick for the ladies. I like have to watch it a third time. I was pleasantly surprised to see Carrie Bradshaw, finally married Mr Big.

Studying Hard

I have spent all night studying and reading books. I go to school online I attend Ashworth College. Reading and Literature 1 an english course. I love being able to go school online. Being a mom and a student is great for me. It shows my kids that you can go to school at any age.

Hitting The Books

I have been hitting the books. I have not stop reading and writing." Boy! school requires a lot studying and research. Even with children I study, my butt off. Moms working that brain. I'm really lucky that all my classes are online, so that is a plus for me. Being a single mom, you always want to improve your life for your kids. So, that's why I have not written a blog post in a while.

You Tube Surfing

Today I was surfing through You Tube for interesting videos about moms pursuing higher education and how they did. How they juggled having a family and studying those textbooks each and every night. Just to give me a little wisdom, and a little motivation to keep crack open my textbooks and....STUDY. I'm currently attending college, and raising a family of my own. I love attending college from the privacy of my own home.

Serious Savings On Groceries

A few days ago, I was watching the news and of course I they kept on takling about was the economy,recession. Oh how depressing ! But, one of the discussions caught my eye. Global National news mentioned a new way people are saving money on their groceries by clipping coupons from the internet.So, out curiosity I decided to check this out.

But to my surprise the news was right-on-the-money. Apparently a lot of folks are doing just that in this economy,clipping coupons. The thing is ! I have started clipping coupons, I am mow receiving some great savings.

I have also found a home based business that provides with a discount card I can use
when I am out with my kids at Mc Donalds.In one weekend from starting this home based business, I have already saved $100.00...lol

Has blogging taken over the old media concept ?

I have been doing some serious thinking. Is the way we view or media changing. Yes! I believe so. We as people have so many options available on the net, that most of what we view is free. But, what if news publications started to charge a fee; viewing an online news paper ? Do you think people would pay ? I have been pondering this notion for quite some time. Well, since the recession even the News media has had lay-offs.

Here is my comment on the whole recession and jobs issue. I know I said I was tired of hearing about it on the news, but the topic is so in your face I better just ramble on about it.The truth is that having a traditional job , there is absolutely no guarantee in anything. Job security...Yeah right ! I don't know why most people think that is even remotely, a possibility of that happening. I would suggest that people take a good look at their interests and passions and roll with that idea. Forget, waiting for corporate America to give you any job security. Creativity will pay off !!

A Very Hectic Day

I am totally facing a day that is quite overwhelming. I'm in the middle of writing a article and my children are climbing the walls. Maybe they are not literally climbing the walls, but they are driving me crazy.

Tired Of Hearing About The Recession

I have never heard so much about the recession like I do now. The media is doing a good job at helping the economy sink. If the media would just stop talking about it I maybe consider mentioning something less gloomy for the nation. Maybe they should start talking about people who are surviving the recession beautifully. So that people who are viewing can have some hope.

Educational System

I had some thoughts about the educational system. Because the recession at this time are we going to be able to afford higher education? I believe that higher education might be out of reach for a lower income household. Not everybody will have the opportunity to be able to go to college , which is really a downer to me. I believe that higher education should be free for all.

Doesn't everybody deserve an education ?

Will I Ever Get Sleep

I have come to a conclusion that I may never get sleep again. Between making time for my writing business and family. Sometimes balancing the two can be exhausting. My kids really do a number on me, they are like two little Duracell batteries.
I will soon be working a brand new radio show on Blogtalkradio. So, I would like all my followers to say tune.I have been busy with various writing gigs.

My next project is tackle writing my first book. But I really wonder if be a mom really requires never getting a full night's rest. Ever...Ever...again.

President Barack Obama is here. How cool is that ? Canadians everywhere are rejoicing in the happiness. Oh boy ! Canada's economy really sucks !!

Hopefully between Stephen Harper and Barack Obama talks may make things better here. I have a lot of family members who have been downsized. People just need to realize that the best thing to do is, work for yourself.

That is the only way to have job security.

What a day

I had one very overwhelming day. I have projects and deadlines that are keeping me busy. I have never had such a busy life as I do now. I have a crazy schedule this week, my children have been keeping me, on my toes. I have wondering when my day would finally come to an end. I have a little reading and research to do tonight, before I hit the sack.

Today I even bought myself a new laptop for my business, I am also practicing my typing skills so that I can type faster...a lot faster.

Getting things done

I have a busy schedule , I have been writing daily for Today.com. I have been keeping myself busy, of course. Being a mom is a job. within it self. I truly enjoy writing articles and blogging. I have been taking on some freelance work on sites like Elance.com and Odesk.com. And posting in forums as well, for pay.What I do for a living can be done with hard work. I write for the love of writing.

Been Away Too Long

I have been away to long, and abandoned my blog. I just could not keep away, any longer. I have been real...busy working. I blog for 3 sites and write articles for 2 other sites, I'm also a radio show host, on Blogtalkradio. "I love the life I live"

I also do some consulting , as well. I do all of this and home school my 4 year old son.
